I went to Disney.  It was hot.  We went on this crazy drive and I said "My mom won't like this."  We went to this show that was in 3D and sometimes they come out of the movie into characters.

Outside my window... darkness falling

I am thinking... how much money is left on my Itunes gift card

I am thankful for... my date day with my hubby

From the learning rooms... We are wrapping up the school year.  I may do 1 or 2 more weeks of full days and then switch to half days for June.

From the kitchen... leftovers today.  Vegetable lasagna tomorrow.

I am wearing... a brown shirt, Bermuda shorts and tennis shoes

I am creating... my June budget

I am going... nowhere tomorrow.  I am looking forward to my possible only day at home.

I am reading... nothing, although I am sure there is a pile of books laying at my bedside.

I am hoping... that the kids cooperate tomorrow 

I am hearing... Tyler and Maggie playing Harry Potter with the neighbor

Around the house...  a mess everywhere the kids go.  Just as we clean one mess up they make another one.

One of my favorite things... my brand new IPad that finally arrived today!!!!!

A few plans for the rest of the week... taking my Mom to the airport on Wednesday, cub scouts and then 2 days of our annual homeschool conference

In 4 days I'm going swimming with The Deckers and the rest of my family.  This past weekend I went to a cabin.  I went fishing.  My dad caught a fish.  It was a Red Eared Sunfish.

I went to Disney and I had fun.  But before we did that we went to the dentist.  I got a prize.  I didn't have any cavities.

Outside my window... A muddy mess where Maggie and her friend were playing with the sprinkler in the yard

I am thinking... that I am tired already and I just got up

I am thankful for... the nice relaxing Mother's Day we had yesterday

From the learning rooms... We are finishing up a lot of our curriculum.  I realized T will be done with his LA very soon.  M has already finished math and we are just working on some misc workbooks I have laying around.  I am debating on buying her next math book now or waiting until the HS conference at the end of the month.

From the kitchen... not sure... We had a big meal yesterday so maybe leftovers.

I am wearing... my pajamas

I am creating... kids' goal lists for next school year

I am going... to take the kids to their dental check-ups and then to Magic Kingdom for a few hours

I am reading... nothing at the moment.  I have lost the mood.

I am hoping... that my irritable mood improves soon

I am hearing... Tyler describing his lego creation to his Dad

Around the house... My Mom has been in town so she has been cleaning for me (Yeah).  I just have some spring cleaning projects I would like to complete.

Weekly Wrap-Up: 5/7/2011

Wow I have been so bad about blogging lately.  Thanks goodness I am forcing my kids to blog as a weekly assignment or things would be dead around here!

We had a pretty basic week.  Last weekend we went to visit my Mom in Sarasota.  We went to the beach on Sunday and visiting the Goodwill bookstore on Monday.  Yes I did spend $50 at the Goodwill bookstore, but we got lots of interesting books and found a couple "Harry Potter" books for our collection.

We had a short week of school, just 3 days.  I have been trying to keep our Fridays clear since I have zero motivation after we return from our park days.  We are near the end of our year so I can do a 3 day week and still finish up all of our work.  We are coming to the end of some of our curriculum.  A few, like History and Math, I plan on continuing throughout the summer.  Tyler will finish his Language Arts this week.

I am really looking forward to the homeschool convention at the end of May.  I have several different curriculums I would like to explore for next year.  I can't wait to see them in person.

Today we are off to the community garage sales in a local suburb.  We have gone every year since we moved to Florida.  I hope I find some good deals today.

I went to the beach on Sunday.  I had lots of fun.  My brother and my Daddy built a little mountain.  I made a mountain and I put shells on it.
