Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY Monday September 13, 2010

Outside my window... a walk calling my name, that I can't quite get accomplished

I am thinking... that I need to get the kids moving if we are going to finish up our schoolwork before bedtime

I am thankful for... the 3 1/2 days my hubby had off and the family time we spent together

From the learning rooms... just opened our Professor Noggin Ancient Civilizations game and learned some fun stuff

From the kitchen... turkey burgers, green beans and salads

I am wearing... my PJs (blush)

I am creating... some math games for Maggie

I am going... happily, no where

I am reading... just finished a terrible book by Karen Robards, but I also reserved more of her books because I can't help myself.... I have this weird internal drive to now finish all of her books - it's a curse.

I am hoping... that I make my weight loss goal before my November cruise

I am hearing... the kids argue over their pretend Star Wars spaceship

Around the house... messes everywhere

One of my favorite things... my TV tray that I use for my daily homeschool agenda

A few plans for the rest of the week... Daisy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Enrichment Classes and getting the kids to behave

Here is picture I am sharing...

I'd still be in MY pj's if I hadn't had to take Noah to school this morning!

Outside my window... the birdhouse that no one has fixed yet.

I am thinking... that I need to get off the couch and actually do some cleaning before it's time to get Noah.

I am thankful for... the people who bring their unused coupons to the library so I can pick from them!

From the learning rooms... Noah's math teacher thanked me for having him do some math online this weekend. I'm pissed that what he's doing is what he was doing in 1st grade, but again he made a few mistakes so maybe he needed the extra practice.

From the kitchen... Chex Mix.

I am wearing... shorts and Tshirt.

I am creating... some new blog posts about my cats

I am going... to get Noah from school in about 90 minutes

I am reading... I had to stop reading "They're Watching" by Gregg Hurtwitz only 2 pages from the end last night because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I HATE it when that happens, lol!

I am hoping... that the dead mice in the walls decompose very fast.

I am hearing... an episode of Newsradio that's playing on Netflix while I'm typing this.

Around the house... stink from the dead mice or whatever ate the poison. AAAAARRRGHHH.

One of my favorite things... My laptop cushiony/tray thingie because I don't burn my thigh anymore.

A few plans for the rest of the week... playing taxi for the kids, volunteering at Noah's school, Clones Wars party on Friday night, errands.
